Jessica is an assistant co-op coordinator working with civil and environmental engineering students. She graduated from Northeastern University in 2000 with a BS in Environmental Geology and a Marine Science minor. She spent 14 years supporting civil and environmental engineering projects at a local AE firm where she focused on facilitating environmental field investigations to support various construction design projects. This work included data collection and analysis, as well as developing detailed graphical maps, writing environmental assessment reports, and successfully navigating the regulatory permitting process. Inspired by her desire to work with students in an educational setting, Jessica obtained her Masters of Education in School Counseling from UMass Boston in 2016 and returned to Northeastern to join the COE Cooperative Education team to educate and support students as they search for and carry out their co-op experience. She is passionate about helping students identify career goals and enjoys helping them navigate the job search and interview process. Jessica’s prior professional experiences allow her to work closely with industry employer to develop exciting co-op opportunities that help students enhance their on-campus learning and achieve their career goals.
