The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering continues to attract exceptional faculty members to teach our students and advance the state of practice. They truly embody the student-centered, research-oriented approach of Northeastern as a whole.
Our 15 faculty members:- strive to deliver outstanding classroom teaching. Several of our faculty members are recipients of teaching awards and participate in educational research and outreach.
- obtain research funding from a variety of external agencies, companies and organizations. They publish their results in the leading journals in their respective fields.
