Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex Groundbreaking
The Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex, which will house collaborative engineering research and education spaces starting in Fall 2016, was recently featured in ASCE Civil Engineering Magazine for its unique building design coupled with a pedestrian walkway that will seamlessly connect the east and west sides of Northeastern University over railway and subway tracks. The building is a major step forward for the College of Engineering, signifying the commitment of the university and the city of Boston to accommodate the rapidly growing engineering faculty, attract top science and engineering leaders and students, and inspire cutting edge interdisciplinary research. Boston Mayor Marty Walsh was among the attendees of the groundbreaking ceremony held earlier this month.
