As a Civil and Environmental Engineering student there are a wide range of opportunities such as clubs, competitions, sports, tutoring, co-op employment and everything else Boston has to offer. The graduate student community takes advantage of the vibrant Boston area to excel, learn, and have fun.

CEE currently has two graduate student organizations (NSEWERS & NGSEA) which host a number of seminars each semester where industry professionals, academics, and students can share their work and network with their peers. They also host numerous other events including site visits, networking events with other graduate student groups, and casual get-togethers for students to build a sense of community within the graduate civil and environmental engineering program.

CEE attracts exceptional faculty who conduct state-of-the-art research, are dedicated educators at both the undergraduate and graduate level, and advance the state of professional practice. The department also has a dedicated staff who provide a range of services to the operations of the department.

Our dedicated alumni span a range of careers around the world.
